The quality was fine, but my gut reaction was that it just didn’t feel worth the price. Nothing was really wrong with it, but for what you get, I expected a bit more.

I got the Clek seat after going down a whole rabbit hole of crash test info, because let’s be honest, you never really know what corners companies are cutting these days. This one just felt different right away. The install took me a couple tries, and for a minute I was side-eyeing the instructions like, “Okay, what are they not telling me?” But once it clicked in, it was rock solid. No wobble, no weird shifting, nothing. Now on daily drives I feel way more at ease, like at least this is one thing in the car I don’t have to overthink.

The seat itself feels sturdy, but the harness gets annoying. It’s hard to tighten it evenly, and it twists more than I thought it would. Not a huge deal once in a while, but using it every day gets old fast, especially with a fussy kid

The part didn’t fit my car right at all, even though it was supposed to. I reached out about it and had to chase them a few times before getting any kind of response, which was frustrating. Overall, not a great experience...

I’m guessing from the smooth finish that it was made with quick cleanups in mind because it wipes down so easily. A quick pass and it looks clean again.

I got one of their car seats and the fabric was the first thing I noticed. It has that soft feel without being weirdly slick, which I appreciate because some seats have that shiny material that makes every little movement sound crinkly. My kid seemed comfortable on a couple shorter drives too, and I didn’t notice the back-of-the-shirt sweatiness that usually shows up fast.

I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because it did catch a bit of lint sooner than I expected, especially around the little seam edges. Not a huge deal, and it wipes down fine, but I kept noticing tiny fuzz bits when the light hit it. Overall it still feels well made and nicer than I thought it would.

We picked up a Clek seat mainly because our back seat is cramped, and to be fair, it really does make a difference compared to our old one. We still have room for another kid seat, and an adult can squeeze in next to it when needed, which is a big win for our car. I bought this from Clek Inc. it seemed totally fine at first. But after just a few months, it’s already showing more wear than I expected. The fabric feels rough now, and one of the pieces has started feeling loose, which is super annoying. For what it cost, I really thought it would hold up better. Now I feel like I wasted time, money, and energy dealing with something I shouldn’t have to worry about this soon. It’s not the worst thing ever, but yeah, disappointing.
